This filet does not need a seasoning or sauce. It has a excellent balance of tenderness and sweetness.
I’m a little late with the review. I bought these as Christmas gifts! What a huge success that was! Personally, I have always thought these filets are the best I’ve ever (EVER!) eaten, and it was a real joy to share them with the family!
Delivery was expeditious and Quality was tremendous, as always.
How a steak can taste this good with just a little salt, pepper and butter is beyond me. These filets are so easy to cook - they are fork tender whether rare or medium well. When we have beef for dinner, this is the steak we make.

I wanted to try the First-Cut Filet Mignon based on the description that it is just as tender and delicious as the center-cut, but because it comes from ends of the tenderloin the shape may be less even. It was amazing!! This is a great cut at an outstanding price for filet!
