R&R Provision Co., a leading wholesale food manufacturer and distributor specializing in hand-cut steaks and meats, today named industry veteran Harry Ludwick President and CEO, effective immediately. The announcement was made by company Chairman Scott V. Fainor.

“Harry has been such an important part of our success over the past several decades,” said Fainor. “His attention to detail and knowledge of the industry and our customer base make him the ideal leader for our team.”

With more than 40 years in the meat and food service industries, Ludwick previously served as R&R’s Head Butcher. Additionally, he led the production team in its day-to-day processing operations. In 1999, he wrote and implemented the company’s plan for ensuring food safety as required by the USDA and is responsible for all USDA processes and policies at R&R. In his new role, Ludwick will add new leadership responsibilities, including management of the sales and marketing department, financial oversight and spearheading the company’s strategic plan.

Additionally, long-time employee Mark Fainor has been named Vice President of Operations, and Kelly Jo Lebish has joined the company as Treasurer and Controller. Since 1996, Mark Fainor has been General Manager of Operations for R&R, implementing many changes to improve the company’s day-to-day operations. Prior to joining the R&R team, he was a Supermarket and Grocery Manager for Laneco for nearly 15 years.

Lebish joins the company from Concannon Miller Certified Public Accountants where she served as a Paraprofessional. In her new role she will oversee all administrative functions, lead the accounting department and be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, financial forecasting and the R&R Retail Store.

R&R, a family-owned-and-operated business based in Easton, Pennsylvania, is celebrating its 87th anniversary this year. Since 1934, R&R has grown continuously, and today the company delivers superior-quality beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry and assorted specialties to top restaurants, country clubs, culinary arts schools, healthcare facilities and more throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In 2019, the company launched its online retail brand ButcherHouse Cuts. ButcherHouse Cuts offers R&R’s same fresh, hand-cut steaks, chops, lamb and veal and ships them directly to customers anywhere in the United States. Customers can also purchase bacon, scrapple, pork roll, steak burgers, combination packs, corporate gifts and gift certificates through the website. R&R Provisions is headquartered in a 40,000-square-foot facility in Easton, which includes a 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing plant opened in 2009. In addition to its wholesale business and ButcherHouse Cuts, R&R operates an on-site retail store in Easton where customers can purchase grocery store essentials, grab-and-go lunches and top-selling local favorites like veal patties, holiday and party platters, sausage and scrapple.
